Government - Public Notice

The Government of the Republic of Nauru has issued a public notice to all gaming operators to observe the following days to cease operations in honour of Christmas, Boxing Day and the New Year Eve.

25 December 2012 – Christmas Day or evening

26 December 2012 – Boxing Day or evening

31 December 2012 – New Years Eve

1 January 2013 – New Years Day or evening

Gaming operations includes Bingo, TAB and Gaming Machines. Any breaches under the term of the issued notice will be liable to punishment of $50,000 fine and 2 years imprisonment.
