Superannuation Fund Payout

The Government of the Republic of Nauru has issued another public notice on “Superannuation Fund Payout for 31^stDecember 2012, between 11:00am to 3:00pm.” Finally this is one of the longest and waiting funding payout being anticipated by many people on the Island since almost 4 to 5 years ago.

This is a good sign for the Government of Nauru to showing its commitment to settling its National debts. This is an incurred debt by the new Governments coming into office since 2004.

This capital superannuation debt started when Nauru’s economy hits a devastating breakdown in the early millennium 2000. Thus since the reform party came into power, the country’s national economy is recovering slowly, which is a good thing to be seen by all.

Thanks to all our donors and especially Australia who is the country’s major donor, and not to mention Taiwan who is being Nauru's close supporter in settling the country's national debts. Without their support, Nauru would not have gotten this far.
